In March 2007 he became an equity partner at Abdo & Abdo Attorneys, and continued to practice there until March 2017, when he resigned to pursue other interests outside of legal practice. He returned to legal practice, as a part-time consultant for Nomvete Sayo Luwaca Inc. in October 2020, before establishing LDI in May 2021.

He holds a four-year Bachelor of Laws Degree from the former University of Transkei and a post-graduate certificate in Income Tax Law from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. He was appointed by the Minister of Finance, to the panel of Chairpersons of the South African Revenue Services Tax Board, where he served for two 5-year terms, between 2008 – 2013 & 2013 – 2018.

Defending the former Director General of the Eastern Cape, Dr. Loyiso Mbabane, against criminal charges is the most prominent case that he has been involved in to date. Socially, he is an ordained pastor, marriage officer, a published author and public speaker.

She is a qualified Dental Technician, having read towards a National Diploma in Dental Technology at the Durban Institute of Technology. She holds a certificate in Wedding Planning and is a co-founder, together with Lwazi of Jewel Weddings and Seminars, a wedding planning and marriage enrichment business.

She is a serial entrepreneur with over fifteen years of experience in various business ventures and holds a certificate in Business and Entrepreneurship from the Joseph Business School. Her exceptional forward-thinking ability is helping LDI position itself as a law firm of the future.

Over the last couple of years, previously as a candidate attorney and currently as an attorney, he has gained legal practice experience in a number of areas of the law including, but not limited to Civil Litigation, Criminal Litigation, Labour Law and, Commercial Law. He has appeared in and argued cases in various Magistrates Courts, High Courts, Labour Courts, the CCMA, chaired disciplinary hearings, appeared before Bargaining Councils and attended to Bail Applications. His main areas of focus at LDI are Labour and Criminal Law.

These skills have been employed in various areas of law including Debt Collection, Debt Reviews, Civil and Criminal Litigation. He has excelled In the area of representing clients in personal injury related claims (Road Accident Fund). It is in this latter area where his focus lies at LDI.

Vuyisa is a trusted individual with strong administrative skills which saw him being promoted to being a branch manager at the Cape Town branch of the previous law firm where he practiced as an Attorney.

Anathi obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Pretoria. She is set on qualifying as a Notary Public and Conveyancer. She has demonstrated a passion for service by founding Thembakazi, a non-profit organisation focusing on youth and women empowerment, in April 2018.

She joined our team in October 2024.

With her academic background and passion we are confident that Zintle will develop into a competent attorney who will serve LDI’s clientele with distinction. Zintle provides legal research and other administration support to the firm’s attorneys.

Bongi has over 22 years of experience, in various roles, within the legal field and over 15 years of experience as a Conveyancing Secretary.

Typing Magistrate and High Court documents and pleadings. Liaising with clients, Sheriffs of the Court, Banks, Court officials etc. Handling most aspects of deceased estate administration. Handling debt collection matters.

She also assists with the typing of various court documents as well as legal agreements, liaising with clients, sheriffs of the court and court officials. She also has extensive experience in Deceased Estate Administration.
